Bush approval down to 45 percent in ARG poll
Not only that, it's 43 percent among registered voters. This is the same poll with Kerry opening up a 7-point lead, 50-43.

1. It seems to me
George can only damage his approval rating now that the cat is out of the bag.

2. I was stunned to see a Bush "feel good about me" ad
last week. Not a 911 one. I don't think I have ever seen one run this early by an incumbent. It had the look of those ads run by Dem ( and I gues Rep) candidates here to reinforce their hold on their base. I live in PA, it was probably aimed at swings and suburban folk. Most Dems here think Bush is horrifying.

7. Another hi
from Pittsburgh. I've been turning TV off a LOT lately because of all the Bush ads.

My kids even hurry to change the channel when one comes on. I Think they're afraid I'll have a stroke.

14. a few weeks ago my 7 year old started ranting about Bush
I try to be diplomatic about my views, my husband not so much, but I think the kids at my son's school are even more liberal than we are!

Hi :)

:hi:

Little Washington here.

We are seeing a lot of those ads in Pittsburgh. But I think they're so bad they're costing him votes. The ads are terrible smarmy things in which he actually promises to keep on creating jobs and lowering health-care costs. Are Republicans living on the same planet? Who believes this C%$P?

12. I'm actually in Westmoreland county
which has gone Republican. I hope people start to wake up and realize that Bush & Co. sure aren't looking out for them.

11. Polarized by the "uniter"
The electorate is as divided as at any time since the Civil War. I saw the results of a survey earlier this week which showed that 95% of Repugs were behind Dubyahoo and 95% of Dems are supporting Kerry with very few undecided in either camp.

The good news is that Independents favor Kerry by about 2 to 1 nationally.

Pollster John Zogby was on television last week and he indicated that BushCo. had made zero progress on minority voters and that if the election were held now, Bush would lose badly. Unfortunately, the election is far away and the Repugs have hundreds of millions to spend and lots of time to engineer an October surprise.

6. BANG!
Kerry has broken the 50% mark. If he consistently stays above 50%, it'll be a landslide victory!

Remember folks, with BBV, Republican agendas, state houses, and legislatures, we need that 7% comfort zone in order to pull this off!

15. Here's what I like
Bush Kerry Undec
All voters 43% 50% 7%
Republicans 81% 11% 8%
Democrats 5% 87% 8%
Independents 42% 51% 7%

Feb 2004 46% 48% 6%
Jan 2004 46% 47% 7%

A total of 17% of Republicans say they disapprove of the way Bush is handling his job as president and 18% of Republicans say they disapprove of the way Bush is handling the economy. Of all voters saying they disapprove of the way Bush is handling his job as president, 81% say they would vote for Kerry. Of all voters saying they disapprove of the way Bush is handling the economy, 81% say they would vote for Kerry.

http://www.americanresearchgroup.com/presballot/

Note 11% of Repubs say they're voting for Kerry, and only 5% of DINOs for Bush. I like the Independents are leaning Kerry as well. I'm in a bad mood cause of a crybaby Repug at my workplace today so this is good news today. I'd love to be the one gloating come Nov 3rd.
