Signs of the Smirkonomy

Within the past few minutes, someone came to our front door selling...vacuum cleaners! I kid you not. This has never happened in the 8 years we've been in this house.

On other fronts, our neighborhood publishes its own newsletter every other month. On the back page there's always an assortment of "free classifieds" that residents place. In the latest issue, I noticed two "stay-at-home-dad-cum-handyman-light-construction" ads. Four or five years ago we never saw ads like that.

But the Bush Regime views these as just entrepreneurial folks, creating "good jobs" for themselves!
