One good answer after another.

He said we might have been able to get Saddam out of Iraq through international pressure without a military attack, and so the either/or of Saddam-in-power or the-Iaq-War is false.

Also said that if the Clinton administration had lied about the cost of a Medicare plan by saying it would cost $140 billion less, there would be all sorts of investigations, but after the Bush Administration lied, Congress does nothing.

2. He was excellent
He was good humored and to-the-point. I don't think Russert is used to hearing direct answers to direct questions.

3. Yes he was....
...and when Kerry is elected, Dean needs to be enlisted by Kerry. I think he would be great in what ever executive branch job is offered.:pals:

4. Yes, it was very powerful.
He made himself and the party very proud.

He was complimentary to John Kerry, and he was devastating to Bush and Condi

I thought I would see some comments here about such a great appearance, but I don't.

Maybe no one will watch him on Larry King Wednesday, either.
Just kidding.

He did a very good job.

9. That was my favorite part!
Dean's response to Condi's claims that Saddam Hussein was "the most dangerous man in the world" was perfect.

He laughed, then responded. I imagine that's what most informed Americans did when she made that outrageous statement.

10. I'm watching now. He's doing beautifully.
I LOVE the way he's talking about losing the nomination.

Relaxed and energized at the same time. Completely in control because he knows what he's talking about, especially as opposed to Condi who kept running to make sure she got in all her talking points.
