Why were all the crooked, lying dogs on the news shows this morning?
Were they requested by the networks or did they request the networks. I cannot see why the networks would see the necessity or purpose to have Condi, Rummy, and Powell on to defend the war in Iraq, etc. We learned a long time ago, that they lied about Iraq. Why do they continue to try and convince us otherwise?

Russert could have been much more aggressive against Condi Rice. She made some absurd statements about Saddam being the most dangerous person in the world and with the "intent" to present an "imminent danger". She was close to nonsensical.

Rummy and Powell were still defending their previous lies. Powell was especially disappointing in his defense of George W Bush. At one time, he said he had the "key" to fly wherever he wanted. Yeah, sure. He has lost all credibility, in my opinion. And I'm still wondering why they were all on the tube this morning? Perhaps they prevent someone else with something more credibile from being on and the networks, of course, do whatever they request?

1. "Tell a lie often enogh and it becomes truth"
This is just part of the well versed propaganda machine manipulating the American couch potato.

Look how well they did with "Saddam was involved with 9-11"

2. Looks like desperation to me
Check out the body language, the rapid blinking, the occasional twitches. They know the whole house of cards has already collapsed, but they're trying to point out the window at the birdies so the rest of us won't see it.

The good news is that it doesn't seem to be working very well.

3. I read the other day
this is part of the Bush offensive, planned right along with his attack ads this week.

4. There was definitely no reason for all of them to flood the networks..
The terrorist act in Spain could have been talked about more, I suppose, but it appears they were on the tube to continue defending the war in Iraq and to continue lying to the American people.

5. I think they wanted to blame ETA, and opps, couldn't.
The Spain bombings were too quickly attributed to Al-Qaida. It wouldn't surprise me if they had intended to talk up the idea that the basque ETA were terrorists and thus we have more terrorists and thus don't Republicans look cool.

Instead, they just blathered and darted their eyes.

6. My impression was that they were spinning so fast, they lost
track of their lies. Rummy out and out contradicted himself trying to explain what the intelligence was they used. Something is happening that they are doing a pre-cover-up. Should we start looking forward to attacks around the world on the 11th of each month?
