Why do white males need their own party?

It's reported 1 in 5 males are Republican. The Democratic Party is women, minorities, gays, and anybody else marginalized. Women can probably be differentiated between those who depend on white males for security, brothers, fathers, husbands and those women are Republican; and Democratic women who tend to be single without that male dependence for security and naturally turn to the government, rape laws, gun control, sexual harrassment, equal pay, etc.

Doesn't this split just prove everything that's been said about white supremacy for generations? Is this a valid campaign issue, or does it just create more divisiveness?

I know many white males think the rules of the game are being set against them and that women and minorities are getting extra advantages. The Republican party is really playing to that. If we could just get white males to understand the ways that they have had advantages over the years, could it help break this dangerous trend and maybe even move the country forward? I'm really more interested in the concept of white males needing their own party as proof of their thinking they are superior, but I know the way it's been played out in recent years and thought it was worth commenting on as well.

That would make around 2 in 5 females Republican to make the 30% Republican membership which routinely shows up in polls. That is simply unbelievable.

Yellows, and are their any other color I have missed. White has always been a dull color to paint with. It washers every thing out. If you wish nice colors in a painting you mix them all. You always put red in the dark shared under a green tree. Makes the painting interesting. I guess like life.

22% of white males are Democrats but that doesn't mean 78% are Pukes. Some of those 78% are independents but it's still lopsided.

Did you see the post earlier about 22% of Dems being white male? I know not 'all white males' are racist. Yeah some are but not all. I'm a white male. I'm not racist, sexist or homophobic. I think one of the best things that could happen to this country is that we turn all politics over to females only for, say twelve years. That's right, make it illegal for men to run for office for twelve years. After all it's been male dominated since the beginning and look at the mess we're in. Do I sound like somebody who doesn't care about minorities?

Most people that use the term "racist" couldnt even define it if asked.

1. Racism is the belief that one race is genetically superior and deserves to rule (note the ism part on the end of the word)

2. Prejudice - to pre judge. An adverse judgment or opinion formed beforehand or without knowledge or examination of the facts.

3. Bigotry - One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ

Next time you hear the word racist, see if its correctly used or should some other word be applied. That said, their is very little racism left in the US, but tons of bigotry and prejudice.

I am so glad I am not that, I like having a little bit of mixed in my heritage, I am also Catholic and I have no Anglo in my blood. Not that it matters really I prefer being mixed Eastern and Western European to just being West.

Can you help differentiate that fact instead of freaking out every time somebody points out that there are still some race and discrimination problems around? Can you help us non-white males to keep from becoming marginalized?? That's what they're doing and after they're done with us, they'll come after you. What is even more sickening of late is the rush to the front of the line of non-white, non-males who've figured out the pukes need them to tack on the appearance of diversity to the republicaryan party.

I wonder if it is some long-simmering guilt wafting around in the sub-conscious of this demographic... Man, we REALLY have to keep it together now, because the white race is slowly but surely disappearing thanks to interbreeding (this is true, scientists have said recently that in the not too distant future, naturally blond hair will be almost unheard of ), so we'd better keep it together now or when they finally do get the control away from us they will KICK OUR ASSES TO KINGDOM COME. 1 in 5 white males are Democrats. Does this mean 1 in 5 of ALL white males, including non-voting white males ?

If we are talking about ALL white males, and something like 50% of all eligible voters don't vote, then 2.5 in 5 white males are NON VOTERS.

That would mean that only 2.5 in 5 white males vote, and of those 2.5, 1 is a Dem and 1.5 is a Republican.

This makes more sense, since about 40% (1 / 2.5) white male voters are Dem and about 60% (1.5 / 2.5) of all white males voters are Republicans.

I actually heard the figure I originally posted on Matthews today so I can't get a transcript yet.

But here's a snip that is along the lines of what I'm talking about. 85% of white males in the South voted Republican. That ought to be enough to prove my point which actually wasn't to make all white males out to be a bunch of racists. I actually think their male egos are simply being manipulated, probably by a female Republican strategist somewhere!

And I don't happen to think Southern white males are unique to the rest of the nation and this article was written in 1994 and things have gotten even worse since then. I suspect that 4 in 5 figure is correct and reflects not only voters but nonvoters as well.

I don't understand it. I'm a 45 year old white woman who has never been harmed in any way by white males. I've never not gotten a job, been chased around a desk, raped, sexually harrassed, none of it. I have no personal axe to grind with men. I LIKE men, a really really lot.

This is just an observation based on what I've heard white men say. They've said these things to me. They feel everybody has rights except them. They're feeling threatened. Are you denying this?

I just don't understand. I'm a person who sees no point in playing games and pretending things are any different than what they are. I've lived my whole life hearing racial jokes and racist remarks. It happens, why do white people pretend it doesn't. Admit it, get it out in the open and talk about it.

All I'm saying is that this run to the Republican party means something. Whatever natural fears and anxieties white men have are being manipulated by the Republicans. Let's just haul it all out in the open so we can make some progress here. I'm a white Anglo American male with a touch of American Indian blood! I reside in the sunny south and I like guns, John Wayne, beautiful ladies, hotdogs, flags and apple pie! I have never voted for a republican in my entire 30+ years of exercising my right to vote, and if I'm half fucking dead on election day, I still ALWAYS drag my tired ass out to do my duty and VOTE!

I never did like a bully telling me what I HAD to do, or lying to me about even the smallest detail! When I was called on to serve America I did not fail to show up and donate two years of my life, even though I had pimples all over my tired ass and had a hell of alot better things I would have liked to have done with my time! Raising my family is one of those things! I never saw my first kid until he was almost six months old, because I was working for YOU!

I have Never been as proud in my life of my black American neighbors as I was on election day in 2000, because of the HUGE black voter turnout here in my state! These people worked very hard to register and turn out the vote and they are due a lot of credit for the great effort!

To divide America by any means, is the battle plan of the wealthy, because that is the key to their power in this country and has been all the way back to Jamestown! The repubs love to see things like this thread because it reaffirms to them that their grand plan is working like clockwork! A black neighbor of mine Calvin and I have been lifelong friends all the way back since we were in grade school! This man was drafted about the time I was and served in Viet Nam where he was wounded and sent to rot in a VA hospital! The year after he was sent back to the US, his younger brother was killed in Nam!

Calvin had the balls to get himself well and to get out of the VA hospital and after a while he found a job with a unionized parcel delivery company! The day after the election Calvin came to bring my medies like he does every month! I told Calvin I was extremly proud of the black voter turnout and we agreed it was the strongest we EVER saw!

I spoke again the following month with my friend about the outcome of election 2000, when he brought my meds! We talked for several minutes about the stolen election over my front fence, and we both stood in front of each other with tears streaming down our faces over what happened to America, unashamed of our tears!

I talked to Calvin just last week and we are still totally in agreement about what happened in Florida! The time when Bush threw the Veteran's ballots in the trash! My friend has still not MOVED ON and neither have I!
