Is there anyway James Carville would manage the Kerry campaign?
I'm just wondering, because I think with Kerry's natural intelligence and experience mixed with Carville and Begala's campaign brilliance, the election in November could be a no-contest.

I am not interested in seeing Clintonites run Kerry's campaign.

10. I think Mary Beth Cahill
is twice as good as Carvale and Begala. She has been responsible for many wins for Democrats Barnye Fank in 1982, Senators Leahey, Pell, some guy in Oregon should hav won the race but got screwed by the repuks. The winner had to leave the senate in discrace.

3. Somewhere he said he wouldn't manage a domestic campaign again
because his "celebrity" would detract from the candidate, making it about him, Carville, and not about the candidate. No, he didn't use the word "celebrity" -- I'm paraphrasing.

4. I think they're doing a good job already
They're getting their war room tactics down early. That's a positive sign.

6. How do you feel about Carville's involvement in Venezuela?
It bothers me that he is working with the opposition there. It makes it seem as though the Democratic Party approves, as he is a spokesman for them on TV.

It truly bothers me.

8. Yes but according to him he only agrees with her 5% of the time
the other 95% he agreed with Bill Clinton. No one is perfect.

12. Even if he wanted to do it and Kerry wanted him
I don't think Mary Matlin (sp) would let him. When they were on Meet the Press, the topic came up, and she said something like, "you're not getting involved with that mess." James just looked down and said something like, "I'm not getting involved in the campaign." When I've seen them together on TV, James looks very repressed. I think she's got a hold on him that he can't break. Too bad, he's a good guy.
