would Bush and his biz cronies care about democracy

would Bush and his biz cronies care about "democracy" in the middle east if there was no oil in the region?

did they care about democracy in Kosovo? did they care about genocide in Bosnia?

if there was no oil in the middle east, would any Americans care about what sort of govt existed in those nations?

Maybe, but only because of the proximity of and threat to the existence of Israel.

Did we care about the government in Rwanda? the genocide that took place there?

would there be terrorist attacks in western nations if there was no vested interest in access to oil among western nations?

I believe that the only reason that they aren't more oppressive here at home is that they are afraid of the bad press that it would generate...
