And on the 8th month Bush rested.
Imagine that! Bush has more in common with "Old Europe" than anyone originally thought. He takes month long vacations.

7. And that's the truth.
My husband has over 140 hours of earned vacation time coming which he will lose if he doesn't take it. He requested next week off and was told he'd get it.

When the schedule came out, he was on it. They "forgot" he was taking it off... This happens quite a bit of the time too. The only way he got last year's vacation time before it expired was to end up in the hospital for emergency cardio-vascular surgery... He also works about 10 to 15 hours more than three forty-hour-work weeks in a two week period.

I guess we're lucky in that they have not yet done away with overtime pay.

5. ....is there some distinction for Bush between vacation and "work"?
Probably the ONLY work that Bush himself gets done happens in Crawford.

8. Yeah, he has a lot in common with the "common man" huh?
It's ridiculous. He doesn't need a vacation. How can he be tired? His aids to all the work. He just sits back playing cowboy.

10. Love it
I use to laugh when the media would tell us that bushmonster wasn't really on vacation, he was really working behind the scene. And they had the balls to actually call these working vacations. Of course no one really knows what the hell he does on these working vacations.

11. He's been on a lifelong vacation
I guess that he considers what he does now, ceremonial duties, is totally exhausting, and he really deserves a rest.
