NYTimes/CBS Poll - oh, oh
Just saw it on MSNBC. Bush 46%, Kerry 43%. I know with pollsters like Gallup they call you and it's about a week until the results are reported as the 'new poll'. Don't know time table on this. Must have been after his ads but don't know if it's after incidents in Spain. Might note that Kerry wasn't front page story anymore either. Yesterday someone posted from the new Gallup poll that said that Bush's disapproval was now at 60%---what gives????

1. The main problem is that
the media is going extremely negative on Kerry. Hardball was a disgrace last night. They were trashing Kerry an his actions during Viet Nam, and did not have anyone to present Kerrys case

9. I saw that too--I turned it off in disgust after 10 minutes
Buchanan was fairer to Kerry than that . . . that . . . Arrrggghhhhh.

If an African-American who acts white is an oreo, what is a tweety bird faux-Dem who spews RNC talking points?

11. That's exactly what my daughter and I noticed...it was all negative
Kerry bashing; nobody presenting truth; just negative, personal, vicious attacks.
Buchanan said that NIXON was a man of greater character than Kerry, holy shit...and that Watergate was the fault of the 'liberal's war' in Viet Nam fer pete's sake...talk about lying sack of shit apologist for the corrupt...

2. ARG has Kerry ahead 50-43
even the Repug polling firm Rasmussen has Kerry ahead 46-44. Look at state polling and other recent polling and the bottom line is that it's pretty close or Kerry is slightly ahead. Still, it's very early and you shouldn't get absorbed by each poll that comes out.

6. I guess it was the NY Times part that concerned me
I could see if this was the Wall Street Journal, etc. but the NY Times numbers I think used to come in pretty favorable to Dems. I said that someone posted disapproval numbers from Gallup yesterday---does anyone have more of that poll?? What were the match-up numbers there????

8. From what I recall
The CBS/NYT poll always has Bush* with a higher approval rating than the rest of the polls. I'll have to look it up.

7. Apparently their poll skewed to Republicans.
According to another post I saw on DU. Dems were a minority of the respondents.
