1. Surely you're not suggesting that any criticism

of Israel equals being anti-Israel or against its right of existence? Because that's the same as a freeper saying that any criticism of the U.S.A. or its leaders is anti-American. You can be against a country's leaders, policies, and/or actions, as I am regarding the current state of affairs in Israel, but not against the country itself. I'm getting a little tired of any criticism at all of Israel being equated with anti-Semitism or being anti-Israel.

I am pro-Israel

I am pro two state solution

and

I am not a big fan of Sharon for the same reason I am not a fan of Bush. I support center left candidates not right wing ones. I would have preferred a Rabin, a Barak, a Shimon Peres.

That being said, I see a bias agaist Israel among some members of the left that sadden me.

The Israelis and the Palestinians have a problem that's not amenable to bumper sticker solutions.

There are plenty of concerned citizens who post only in the I/P folder, but I'm sure they're all good Democrats (except, of course, for those who aren't even American citizens - and I'm sure not all that many more than half the posters there fall into that category).

Let's all sing Kumbaya. But first let's shitcan all those gulldang furriners from DU. Then we can get about the business of electing a Democratic President.
