Read 2 books recently that I would reccomend to any liberal:
1. James Carville's newset, "Had Enough"? If you are a militant (metaphorically speaking), or just feel beat up by the neocon hordes, this one is for you. 3.5 stars out of four...though I must say I disagree with him inre: Lieberman.

2. "Fire and Blood; the History of Mexico", Fehrenbach. They're our neighbors, and many are coming here. This book is a vital insight into the history and culture of Mexico. Smashing good read, too.

1. "Had Enough"?
I've read three of his previous books, and I find this to be his most "dense" book yet. It IS a handbook. If you want facts on specific aspects of Bush policy, you'll have it here.

But as a read-through-until-the-end book...no....it's a book you'll keep at your side for months, but not a book you will read in a week.

3. Um, I read it in 2 days.
Not because I'm a genius or anything...I just couldn't put the damned thing down.

8. I've been in a Bush Book Reading Marathon
I think my problem was that this was his heaviest book on economic numbers than before. I've just gotten off of reading "Dude, where's my country?", Rall's "To Afghanisan and Back" and a collection of This Modern World.

2. If you haven't read "Der Fuehrer" by Konrad Heiden....
then you really do not know what the BFEE is REALLY doing.

My advice is to get it and read it and KNOW what we are up against.

Remember that the Bushes made their fortune off the Shoah as well as the financing of the Nazi military killing U.S. soldiers and trying to conquer America.

It took them a little longer than they planned. But they are in control now.

10. Interesting connections there: SAVAK and RFK
Robert Morrow, a "former intelligence agent," wrote a compelling study of the assassination of Sen. Robert Kennedy. His thesis in "The Senator Must Die": The people behind the murder of RFK were affiliated with US and Iranian intel.

Who, today, still does business with these assassins? A hint: What did Nixon call Bush, Baker and Mosbacher? "The Texans... They'll do anything for our side."

One of the few books actually banished in the US, Morrow's book was pulled because Morrow implicated a teenage photographer as a trigger man. The kids' family sued and the publisher was ordered to recall all the unsold copies of the book.

5. Well, he referred to him as "Saint Joe". Personally, I think Lieberman
is a GOP tool.

Or just a tool.

Or words to that effect.

11. A great short book.
I recently read "War is a Force That Gives Us Meaning" by Chris Hedges It is a short book yet packed with heavy meaning.

"The myth, which is a lie, of course, built around glory, heroism, heroic self-sacrifice, the nobility of the nation. And it is a kind of intoxication." Chris Hedges
