PROJECT: Make a list of Bush screwing over Republicans...

OK, here's a useful project... make a list of times when Bush screwed over Republicans...

1. On the Medicare bill, the Administration deliberately lied about what the program would cost in order to get critical Republican votes. When that wasn't enough, they threatened and offered to bribe a Republican congressman. In the end, after losing the vote at first they had to hold the vote open over three hours to get the last vote they needed, in total contempt of the rules.

Any others?

1. John McCain and Colin Powell

John McCain -said he fathered illegitimate children. Spread this lie using push-polls in South Carolina in 2000.

Colin Powell - sent him to UN to put his reputation on the line before the entire world with bogus intelligence (not that Powell isn't responsible, too).

2. Here's a few

- Destroyed Christie Whitman's political career;
- Destroyed Trent Lott;
- Destroyed Newt Gingrich (via proxy Tom Delay);
- Destroyed Bob Barr;
- Lisa Beamer (wife of Scott "Let's Roll" Beamer) has reportedly left the fold;
- Hung the CIA out to dry on many occasions, especially Joseph Wilson and Valerie Plame;
- Went after one-time GOP member Scott Ritter, including a bogus kiddie porn charge;
- Destroyed the military career of Republican Lt. Col. Karen Kwiatkowski (The New Pentagon Papers);
- Got 560 American soldiers killed, or whom probably 250-300 were Republicans.

I'm sure there's lots more.

Prolonged and large deficits are repugnant to repugs no matter where the money's going: social programs, entitlements, or military and/or homeland "security".

Not to forget mentioning that * lies regularly and the party has to repeat the lies, knowing that they are lies and having to do it.
