I'm sorry, but the DNC red balloon is ....AWFUL..
I hope they are not paying their graphics people to produce this CRAP.. We have several people here who do profesional work, and there are many other talented lefties who would do a great job.. Whose kid is this person ??? McAuliffe's??...

ANY of the moveon.org's submitted ads, or the people who submitted them whould be better..
Remember that lame-o "wheelchair" ad from 2002?? Are they aiming to look crude and amateurish?? or are they just hopelessly clueless???


I wrote them and gave them a link to americanstranger/symbolman/ blumrich/fiore...

Please write them and ask them to investigate a "new job" for their graphics person :)

5. What's really sad, is that by just producing it
they are getting some free airplay...and then it's AWFUL..

6. Is it me or does the DNC seem like your "uncool uncle"
It's like they don't really get it, yet groups like MoveOn.org are kicking butt all over the place. I think the DNC needs a "new blood" transfusion.

I am a 54 yr old Mom, and there is NO way I even attempt to "be cool".. My kids said things that I almost needed a translator to understand, but to attempt to "be like them" and "talk like them" would have just made no sense..

Every age group has their lingo..

Advertising works when it's understandable by everyone..

10. Supposedly.. that great new building they put up
has a state of the art studio in it.. Unfortunately, their taste in "art" seems to be crayon/coloring book :(

I got the ad in my Outlook mailbox this morning and just cringed while watching it. There's no way I'm forwarding that embarrassing piece of crap. The "balloon" theme wasn't even used consistently or logically. Just awful.

It was insulting, it was so awful. Somebody in the DLC must have a kid they think will be the next Picasso and Disney rolled into one, I can't imagine them hiring this out to anyone competent.

With all the beautifully done ads out there at Move On and Take Back the Media and even Bushflash's over the top efforts, you'd think they'd have managed to locate some truly competent people.

This is Freeper level stuff, and they should be thoroughly ashamed.
