Did anyone catch Hardball last night (Thursday)?
Edited on Fri Mar-19-04 06:43 PM by Katarina
Anyone watch it last night? Chris was talking to Howard Dean and something he (Chris) said really caught me by surprise and I wondered if anyone else caught it.

<snip>
MATTHEWS: What about the dynamic of this war? We were hit on 9/11 by al Qaeda, apparently. We go to war with Iraq. Al Qaeda goes into Iraq and starts playing the champion of the Arab world, especially Iraq.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4561970/ little less than half-way down the page.

Apparently? What's that about? Does Chris have doubts?

2. I heard that too
I wondered what he meant by it. Hmmmmm..... You think Tweety should get an honorary tinfoil hat?

3. I caught that too.
I was wondering whether he was saying that "tongue-in-cheek" because Tweet's has always been against the invasion of Iraq.

4. Whores try to be fair and balanced between lies and the truth
Like Paul Krugman said, If the Repukes said the earth was flat, the media would report--"Shape of the earth? Views differ."

So he is just being "fair" to both sides.
