thank you DUers for inspiring me!
to go to the local anti-war protest. I used to go to protests a lot prior to parenthood and too much work to do. The protest was great despite the rain. I felt so energized by it. And I also got my DU sticker today.

3. there were about 500-1000 people
not sure.. I am really bad at estimating numbers. But it was very cool. I marched with some Quaker friends.

I was asked to go to the NYC protest this weekend, but my husband's working and child care issues made it impossible. Wish I could have been there!

I haven't gone much since my son was born since I felt he should be able to decide if he wants to go.. he probably could now, but it was too wet so he and dad stayed home while I got soaked.
