It means people like us are not sitting at home. I know that I have been really busy lately, I went to a protest today and I am preparing to go speak to a few black churches about the importance of voting and voter registration.

I was a little nervous about it at first but the response has been so positive, I am looking forward to it now.

There was only about a 100+ people at the rally I went to today, but considering I live in MS, I think that is great. We gave away all of out DFA stuff and talked to plenty of people that really want to work.

Their dedication is amazing.

Everytime an SUV drove by the people in it looked the other way, but all of the Black people smiled. Poorer white people didn't seem hostile, you can tell that they are really hurting right now.

We had a great day and got a lot done.

I am so proud to see democrats holding their own. We had only 1 freeper interuption and he came and left in a matter of minutes. He was really trying to start something, but no one there hardly gave him the time of day. It was great.

Keep up the good work folks, we have to keep on them, they are going down.

1. Congratulations on your protest.
Having over 100 protestors is a lot in some areas, so be pleased with yourselves.

Best of luck in your voter drive. It's very important. Thanks for helping all of us. :hi:

4. yep, 100 in a place like MS means a lot
I've been protesting republicans since they started in with Clinton and I know how hard it is to get people to show up at a protest. In the beginning, we would only have 30 here, 40 there. A hundred is a lot for a place like MS!

5. I think that the real prostests today took place in small towns all over
the country.

My jaw dropped when I saw pictures of a protest in NC today. It is such a good sign that their were pretty big protests 1000+ in some unexpected places. That means that middle America is catching on!

Yay to dems all over the country today was a good day!
