Boy king campaign reaches new low regarding Kerry's service
From Talking Points Memo by Joshua Micah Marshall"

And now for "The Outrages of the Week." President Bush's reelection campaign is distributing a letter from retired Colonel William Campenni, who served with Mr. Bush in the Texas Air National Guard. After defending Bush's service, Campenni argues that Bush did more to defend the U.S. than John Kerry did in Vietnam, earning three Purple Hearts, a Silver Star and a Bronze Star.

March 20th, 2004

While most of America was sleeping and Mr. Kerry was playing antiwar games with Hanoi Jane Fonda, we were answering 3 a.m. scrambles for who knows what inbound threat over the Canadian subarctic, the cold North Atlantic and the shark-filled Gulf of Mexico.

1. If this gets attention, then Kerry will turn it into a good thing.
It only allows Kerry to change the subject back to AWOL, and what he did in Vietnam.

2. I heard about that Viet Cong Airforce
But I was a little too busy around Dong Ha and Con Tien to really get to see just how dangerous they were in their raids on Texas.

that the Viet Cong Air force were the first to obtain the dental records of dubya and were aware that the invisible fighter pilot was patrolling our Sky's protecting us and making us safer even back then.

3. Yeah those sharks have been known to jump 10,000 ft into the air
and bite the wings off of fighter aircraft. Much more dangerous duty than taking a pleasure cruise along the Mekong delta like that slacker Kerry. :eyes:

6. I agree.
My parents, who lived in LA during the Vietnam War, have terrified me with many stories of what happened when the VC launched that surprise attack on Santa Monica.

Oh, wait... no, that was my dad telling me about Pearl Harbor Day, the original one. Yeah, back when Prescott Bush was busy trading with the Nazis...

7. Very stupid for an administration whose skeleton's are already
rattling behind the closet door. Kerry can shoot this down easy. No pun intended.
