How I Urge People To Watch 60 Minutes Tonight
I am an advid fisherman. I visit a number of fishing and boating related forums daily. Most of them are filled with Bush supporting Republicans. Democrats are in the minority, and that's putting it nicely. Still, I love to fish.

I have just posted the message that I'm reprinting below on one of those boards. You all will see that I'm trying to draw in some of that Republican crowd. If you also frequent similar forums let me suggest that you might also want to steer some of our Republican friends towards tonights airing of 60 Minutes. Copy mine if you like, make up your own, but let's try to get the word out. Here is what I wrote:

"No matter how you feel about President Bush, even if you don't care for him, you should watch 60-Minutes tonight. The American people need to know the level of concern our President had, the sort of information that was available to him, and the steps he took in protecting our country prior to 9-11, as his oath of office requires of him. The interview to be aired tonight with Richard Clark should give you a better idea about how seriously our President took that oath.
Richard Clark's high-level professional career began under President Reagan, continued under the first President Bush, through 8 years of Clinton, and then George W. Bush. He was the top advisor on matters of terrorism for 20 years. He is scheduled to testify before the 9-11 investigation panel next week and he has a lot to say tonight as well. This is probably the most serious matter ever taken up by 60-Minutes and the most serious matter facing the American public today, as we prepare to choose a President. Please don't miss the broadcast."

I know, kind of sneaky, but hey!

Thank you. I went back and edited the original posting on the fishing board. Sorry about the misspelling.

4. Btw, I agree with Mel. Maybe a few of the ones who would normally ignore
anything negative against * might watch tonight's 60 minutes.

...
60 Minutes airs Sundays at 7 p.m. ET/PT. Check your local listings.

2. I like it!
I think it's smart & sneaky ;) to post it this way. If you bashed Bush* it would just make republicans mad and they might not watch.

More people need to see the truth about Bush. Most of them just don't want to hear it. Freepers don't usually watch "60 lies a minute" though

edit: spelling

7. Hot diggity-dog! Great job! Very "nonjudgmental!"
Every little bit, and I mean EVERY little bit helps drill another hole in the dike. KKKarl Rove is going to run out of fingers to plug them with.

EVERY little bit you do is one little bit more against bush!
