Rush is a known and admitted drug abuser. Why would the VP of the US
be so desparate to appear on his show? Is that restoring "dignity" and "respect" to the WH? What must the rest of the world think?

3. It shows desperation
and for any administration to discuss anything with a wakjob like Rush is embarassing for us as a country.

6. Rush Slimeball wouldn't know to wipe his nose
without instructions from Karl Rove & Co. He's nothing but a babbling mouthpiece. He can't think for himself on anything. That's why his show is nothing but sheer hypocrisy and babbling.

8. All he was doing was playing to his base
Cheney knows that only Wingnuts listen to Rush. All he can do his hope to keep this base energized and faithful. If they start doubting it really is game, set, and match.

10. Yeah, but the best part is....
For Cheney to come out from under his rock you KNOW they're scared shitless over not only Clarke's book, but his testimony this week.
I mean, the book is already written, but who knows what the commission will ask and how he'll answer????

I've been smiling to myself over this all day long. :D

9. It's desperation. Even Sh*ttoheads eventually catch on.
Cheney knew he had to give a pep talk to the hyenas.

Good point. The vice president (technically) of the United States is hanging out with a pill popper.

11. Ummm, because any other interviewer would have asked harder...
questions? I heard part of it and Rush was helping him spin lies as they went.

12. I've heard of preaching to the choir, but this is ridiculous
By hiding behind Limbaugh's skirts, Cheney is preaching to the assitant pastor! Why doesn't he do so to an audience who might NOT blindly believe him? Never understimate the power of your swing voters!

13. Its an embarassment to the entire nation to have a vice President
visiting a known propagandist and liar, let alone the drug problem hes still fighting.

I think an email barage condemning Cheney for embarassing the country by visiting the poster boy caricature of dirty politics . My God how low theyve sunk.

14. "Ditto" - everything that's been said here
How low can you go?

Cheney - wow - he fell off the face of the earth the last three years and now he's everywhere.

I guess his only official duty is to campaign.

15. And to think...
Cheney gave us much time to that slimeball as he will to the 9-11 Commission. Says a lot, doesn't it?
