I was just looking for some verification that's all. Don't get all emotional.

Why is clinton so revered anyway? I happen to believe he wasn't exactly the bee's knees as far as presidents go. He wasn't a disaster, but he was definitely right of center on many issues that we should hold near and dear.

Consensual sex between two adults hardly constitutes "sexual offender" status. Ask your friend when Bill Clinton was arrested, tried, and convicted for involuntary sexual relations with anyone. Then take it from there.

Let me clarify something here. I don't believe that he legitimately is, or deserves to be. I have no trouble believing that the army of clinton bashers(scaife and the like) would be sucessful in smearing him with some type of trumped up charge, and that's primarily what i was trying to clarify.

This can range from rape to peeing in a public place.

But remember Clinton didn't get charged with adultry (which is legal) but with lying about the adultery.

I think that is the same kind of question as the one you asked. I heard it said on C-Span yesterday by a freeper type as if it was fact and everyone knew it.

These ideas were conceived and hatched by the right wing and the lie has become the truth. The very fact that you have to ask the question give testimony to their success.

The only thing to come out of the investigations of Clinton was that he lied about sex under oath. All other charges and innuendo have been proved false. Of course the news coverage about the fact that Starr's $60 million witch hunt turned up no evidence of any criminality by Clinton was buried in the back pages.

The wing nut answer to that was, "just because Starr could not find evidence of wrong doing doesn't mean Clinton didn't do something wrong."

So no matter what you say to a wing nut about Clinton is futile. They want to have their Clinton hatred no matter what the truth is.

as to Monica....not legally, but if a Republican politician had that sort of relationship with an employee NOW would scream about 'imbalance of power' and 'lack of free consent'...NOW didn't exactly shower themselves with glory on that one...
