the 5/27/02 issue of Time magazine--that article says it all and outlines how the Bush administration failed to act pre-911. I love, especially, Condi's response to terrorism when they first took office--quote "it (terrorism) is not a priority". One thing that the commission has not mentioned yet is the memo from Phoenix warning about suspicious Middle Eastern men taking flying lessons which ended up getting shuffled from Cheney to Condi and ended up in the "bowels of intelligence"--huh??? They need to bring that up soon.
the 9/11 commission should not forget that Georgie boy took a nice long vacation in August of 2001. While the Shrub was vacationing the terrorists were plotting. But he did get that Aug.6, 2001 briefing about possible hijackings while dusting up his spurs.
Whaddya wanna bet an oppotunity in the field of education will present itself soon? Wasn't she provist of the Hoover Institute at Stanford? With my luck, my alma mater, Texas A&M will hire her. :eyes:
