2. Aren't conspiracy theories more interesting than sports?
I think so. Has Mohammed Atta been found alive? I heard a rumor about this a while ago.

3. Remember back when we were promised evidence...
...that Osama bin Laden was responsible for 9/11?

We never got it, did we?

I can tell you for certain that bin Laden was NEVER charged with anything to do with 9/11. The only person that was, as far as I know, is Zacarias Moussasoui (and the case is so weak, they refuse to air it in public, or even allow Moussasoui to know what evidence is being used to charge him).

Whoever planned 9/11 got away with it so far, as far as I'm concerned.

15. MoPaul...I've said it was...
the good ole u. s. of a right from the git go! Tell ya what...rent the 9/11 documentary video and see if you catch yourself doing what I did! Right after the first plane hits the WTC...and before you hear the incoming approach of the second plane...you are taken inside building one with the firefighters, AND THE WHOLE TIME THE SKIES ARE SILENT...until you hear the sound of the second call of death! I caught myself yelling "Where's the fucking Air Force?" You just have the feeling that something else is gonna happen, exactly what the firefighters in the first building had to be thinking...you can see it in the expressions on their faces!

5. Excellent work!

there was two passenger lists for each plane. The one on the airlines pc and the other bushgang list.

right after 9/11 there was a report talking about these lists. Saying not as many people were on the planes as reported.

just like the plane that took off from NYC and promptly crashed into a neighborhood. as it happened, witnesses told reporters of hearing/seeing a blast from the plane while it was in the air. Only heard/saw these reports right after it happened and then never again.

I've sent this article to others to spread the info.

7. Did you read the other articles in this rightwing rag?
Most people who know rightwing propaganda will look into the Sierra Times and suspect what they read even when it concerns valid questions and there are hundreds of unanswered but valid questions about 9/11 possibly even including this one.

9. no, never heard of the sierra times
didnt' read the other articles. didn't realize it was a right wing rag. but i've been suspicious about that official story all along.
i never even saw photos of the crashed flight 77, ever. not on t.v., or internet, and that's the famous 'let's roll' flight.

i don't dismiss any article based on what publication it's in, but maybe i should. if this is the case here, then it's a case of a right wing publication agreeing with a mostly liberal crackpot theory.
encouraging.

14. Mopaul I didn't mean to cast doubt on the question
-I have seen the statement about the oddities of flight 77 published in several places- I really meant only to cast doubt on the that specific source, Sierra Times, I didn't see anything else among the articles that was anything other than rightwing bs.

18. Minor correction...
MoPaul...the 'LET'S ROLL" flight was flight 93! BUT...we never got to see any of the wreckage of it OR Flight 77 which hit the Pentagon! GO FIGURE...www.flight93crash.com

19. Before the selection, the Sierra Times was one of Chimp's biggest shills
They even had articles encouraging truckers to strike if Gore were declared the winner.

The Sierra Times is reaping what they helped to sow, and it ain't a pretty crop

8. That is weird
If it is true, that is, it is very odd.

On a related note, a friend of mine from Jerusalem who owns a small bodega has some weird stories about 9/11, and they aren't crackpot conspiracy stuff.

12. The reason this sounds like BS to me
is that in the first part of this article, the person claims that they got the info through an FOIA request, and I do not believe for one second that Asscroft would be handing out 9/11 info by way of FOIA.

13. Depends on how soon after 9/11 the request was made and in what form
The Feds never really can get their act together with FOIA..always trying to hide stuff they think will make them look bad and always giving out stuff that is really damaging. The passenger lists may have been given out by the government or by the airlines. Wish someone would clarify this. One thing we do know is that several people who were alleged to have been highjackers are alive and well and never set foot on the plane...stolen identities. In truth, we don't know to this day who really was on those planes.

16. Aw heck, this was discussed in a couple of threads just before the upgrade
In short, this kook claims that it's a list of passengers with about as many names on it as there were passengers and because there are no Arabs on it, therefore it proves that there were no Arabs on board... except that the list HAS ALL THE CREW OF THE FLIGHT ON IT TOO and not all the passengers! DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

17. That Was My First Thought, Too

namely that Arabic-sounding NAMES aren't important. The shoe bomber, for example, was named Richard Reed, despite his ethnic background.

BUT -- the claim of the autopsies is what makes it interesting. I would like to see more on this. The thumbnailed FOIA documents give a list of 58 names but do not refer to the racial identification.

So I am still skeptical. That could change with better documentation of the "bone guy" findings.

20. Remote control for aircraft has been around for some
time. I had a friend who worked with McCready on the Gossomer Condor, and he did a lot of remote piloting back in the 1980's.

I don't put much stock in the linked story, but I do know about what Bamford spoke about and can vouch for him. I worked for the people he discusses and he was right on the money.

BTW get his book "Body Of Secrets." It is a very good read, especially the part about Operation Northwoods and the USS Liberty.
