The only recourse left to the RW are the "wedge issues"

Look for the wedge issues to become the focus of the media in the coming days: abortion, immigration, welfare, school vouchers. This is all they have left to rally their base...a strategy of "wedge."

this is what this administration has always been about: dividing and conquering. And not letting them get by with it.

The RW has taken the wrong side on every important issue: the economy, foreign policy, health care, jobs, etc., that they have to resort to the scam better known as the "culture war" to con poor whites (the target of their wedge-issue scam) into putting gays before their own livelihoods; unborn kids before the kids dying in Iraq; their faith before their next meal (what next, faith-based breakfast they'd refuse if two gay guys or lesbians fed them?); etc.

This "culture war" is a scam perpetrated on poor whites to divert their attention from the fact that Republicans are robbing them blind!
