Can anyone tell me why?
President Clinton was forced to testify under oath, as to the nature of his relationship with an intern. Yet, bush is not forced to testify under oath as to why he allowed 3000 of our citizens die under his watch.

9. Thank you for the welcome
It still amazes me as to how President Clinton was FORCED to testify about personal issues under oath, yet Condi and bush are free to tell the 9/11 commission to pound salt. I wish the media would point out this major inconstancy.

7. Because Ken Starr got a hard-on.
He then proceeded to waste ca. 60M taxpayer dollars on his "investigation", which included the troll, Linda Tripp, wearing a wire while she talked to the poor, misguided bimbo about hummers, etc.

You don't understand. BUllSHit is a "war preznit". And he ain't gonna testify 'cause he's too busy savin' American lives!! And remember: he has NO INTENTION of losin' this election.

Ten-four.

8. Clinton was not forced to testify No.
His lawyer Robert Bennett made a major goof. Big Big Big one.

He is aware now it was wrong.

He was unaware of the "illegal" Perjury Trap awaiting the President.

Kenneth Starr of Scum had major uncontrolled power. In a normal case the defendant would have screamed "perjury trap" "perjury trap" to get the case dismissed.

No one could attack Starr of Scum. He was one untouchable in our democratic history of law, justice and order.

The defendant is not required to testify against himself in a Grand Jury hearing.

Clinton should have declined but feared a political backlash.

12. Good question...
I think a lot of it is because there is a Republican majority in Congress that will never let "their" pResident be challenged.
