wolfowitz said today on CNN that condi must appear before 9/11 commission...that whole mess is lose-lose for bush*, who may well have to reverse his position under political pressure...the center is no longer holding....

as the cracks in bush* 'inner circle' become torrents of rushing water....will bush* fire condi as a sacrifice?

I have not seen any particular amount of creativity coming from Rice in any situation. She is a task oriented person and not a thinker, per se, and not particularly inclined to be an independant thinker either. I think she will be satisfied to keep lying and hope it will soon be all over and then she can retire in relative comfort for the rest of her miserable life.

By the way, I've been calling some people in Congress and the Senate, and when I say I saw "Contradicta Rice" on "60 Minutes" last night, they start laughing! Some of 'em have written it down. BUZZ PHRASE ALERT!

Condi's ONLY protection right now, as flimsy as it is, is she's an advisor to the President and therefore can't testify. Once she's no longer an advisor, she's no longer protected.

She's fucked any way you cut it. The longer she doesn't testify, the worse it looks and the longer it's a story. If she testifies, she's fucked because she'll have to lie under oath and she would be totally busted. If she's fired, she has no reason anymore NOT to testify.
