4. "Big deal" sends a ton of dough to Rick Lazio to defeat Hillary in 2000
and another to former house impeachment manager James Rogan in the same year.

Stein is clearly a Clinton hater.

BTW, Rogan lost his congressional seat in 2000.

6. Like I said. Big deal.
He is a republican. He likes their ideals, and disliked the policies of the Clintons. Hardly makes him unique. There are Democrats who disliked the Clintons.

7. I'm a Pepperdine grad, former student of Ben's, and acquaintance of his
He is a very complex man. He is a staunch conservative, but not for religious reasons. He is VERY bright, with an exceptional wit. I disagree with many, many of his conclusions...but I give him credit for seriously thinking about issues and supporting his convictions.

Note that his 'seriously thinking' is a trait unknown to the current cabal in the administration. They are idealists and reactionaries.

With a little luck, 2004 will be the year that the non-thinking idealist religious conservative looses all credibility. If that happens, the Republican party will revert to thinking humans that can rationalize and disagree. I predict that Ben Stein will be among those that stick around (even though he, like so many, have spent a lot of time endorsing the Bush* admin).

Just some thoughts...that's all.

9. At this stage in the game
Bush does not have supporters or endorsers. He only has accomplices, particularly amongst those who are supposedly thinking about the issues.

Any republican who truly cares about the issues and their country should be running away from this administration as fast as they can.
