1. I don't either.
Not only that, but Kerry has also been getting very little air time in the the news the last 3 weeks or so. Time for him to wake up.

2. He has been staying out of the limelight while the commission is
going on.

But it is past time for him to resurface.

And for God's sake run some damned ads to debunk Bushevik Lies!

...that with an opponent who will spend around $200 million mostly on advertising, that the Kerry campaign is finding it difficult to allocate affordable ad time on the networks? Between Bush and the networks, the Kerry campaign could be virtually priced-out of the media market.

Oh sure, just 'run some ads!'

11. There is nothing to stop local Fox stations from refusing to run
Kerry ads. I'm thinking that will happen. You nailed it with the $200M. They ran up the price.

4. The money thing
Bush still has around $110 million. Kerry doesn't have anywhere near that much to spend - at least, not yet.

If you can't contribute money, contribute manpower. Our senatorial district convention was the biggest in 32 years with people falling all over each other to get Kerry elected and Bush evicted.

6. Repigs at War...against each other on TeeVee...
Kerry is letting them eat each other up, and saving his money.

8. oh, I have no doubt that this is a Kerry campaign strategy
I think that Kerry is allowing Bush to burn through the war chest in his smear campaign. It's like allowing the bigger fighter in a boxing match to exhaust himself first, then just tip him over. Once *'s guard is down, Kerry will strike hard and fast.

9. He needs money
Bush has over 100 million to spend BEFORE the convention.

Kerry is almost broke.

Ad money needs to be conserved until the summer.

Obviously, Kerry WANTS to air ads...but it takes cash.

And what's he going to do about NAFTA and WTO?

Why should I make myself POOR to elect another Clinton who will work to make my purchasing power even smaller compared to the top 2%?

Is ANYONE home?

13. If you can only donate once....
Edited on Tue Mar-30-04 12:36 PM by jackstraw45
Donate in September...

If you can't afford to donate money, donate some time as a volunteer or make a point to discuss the issues with friends and family.

Get a Kerry bumpersticker or yard sign.

Not every contribution has to be financial but if people have money to lend, this is the election to use it.

15. Donated my money and time already
Will continue to do so as the runup to the "election" continues.

I'd advise everyone who loves America and Liberty to do the same.

14. No DNC counter ads either ~ Terry McAuliffe made a solemn pledge
to counter any negative ads immediately. Where are they? I made a promise to myself that I would go into debt so I could contribute to the cause if I saw an earnest effort to counter the GOP LIES. I have yet to see anything. They can not let this stuff go by or it sinks into the collective consciousness of America.

17. CORRECT!
Promises were made. Maybe the most important Promise to Keep the Democratic Party has EVER made.

Now they are renegeing on the bargain.

Sad.

18. Ads by the Democrats are too controversial
criticising the president and all. Can't have that now, might upset somebody.

19. We may not have the money BUT
I knew we would have a certain hard time because we don't have the money to blow and especially this early. BUT there is a way to get on national tv and that is for Kerry to come right out and start accusing Bush of all sorts of things. Instead he's 'presenting' his plans. That's nice; but they are barely making the media. They would be all over Kerry if he made some chest thumping accusations and then when the WH yells, say "I'm not backing down from my position". They are not playing the media well.
