I work in cube city, so I can't exactly stream audio here, and I'm pretty sure they are not on in the Hartford area.

7. I'm not counting on much "liberal radio" in Raleigh...

Although some of the college stations aren't too bad.

8. Another Lucky WLIB . . . .
listener. Only problem is I have trouble tuning in AM radio at work in Manhattan. I am fortunate enough to be able to listen via the Internet stream if necessary. I can pick up WLIB on my car radio, so I can listen during my morning and evening commute from New Jersey. I am so psyched!

20. A great radio to pull in stations
When we moved out to the country, we couldn't even get the NPR station from Austin, 30 miles away.

I wanted one of those dynamo radios you can crank up, so I wouldn't use up so many batteries as I went about my daily chores.

A search on the internet helped me find the best radio ever!

It not only pulls in stations clearly, but it has AM-FM-TV-Weather and multiple short wave bands.

It has four power sources: AC, with AC adapter (provided), AA Batteries, Solar (which also recharges the NiMH batteries (provided), and a Dynamo crank, to charge the NIMH batteries that come with it.

And what does all this cost? A mere $34.95, plus $8.95 shipping within the USA. This is so much less than other similar radios, and it is just a great little compact radio.

I haven't ever had to put AA batteries in it as the NiMH batteries stay charged beautifully.

I hope the moderators won't object to my touting this radio on the blog - - after all, it's so everybody can listen to AirAmerica!

FWIW, I have no connection whatever to the company or its website, below.

9. I already set my AM radio to 1190
It's coming in loud and clear! Except it's Caribbean music now and will be until tomorrow at noon. Then it's The O'Franken Factor, Randi Rhodes and the rest of it non-stop!

10. You Bet I will
You bet I will I have waited so long for us liberals to have a voice. Im so tired of all the news networks being so blatenly biased towards right wingers. Not to mention talk radio being run by the bigoted homophobic pill popping lush gumjaw.

11. I'd listen to it in a heartbeat if
it were either on in Austin or on Sirius Satellite Radio.

But Satellite Radio is hard to carry around with me 24/7. :)

13. I can listen on 1050...for some reason...despite the fact...
that most of the country doesn't get it yet....they have a station for where I live -- the Inland Empire (which is 2 small counties midway, to the east, between L.A. and San Diego). So, me happy.

28. Doubtful.
Not in a position to listen to streaming audio here at work (cube farm with winger neighbours) and I have a dial-up at home. and I can't pull-in Chicago w/o getting interference from WXLW in Indy. (also on 950)

Maybe in the next round of new stations....
