They've gone to ludicrous speed.

Really makes me feel good about never watching them.

1. Yes, they are really vying for the position of Cheif of Pravda
for the Busheviks.

But, like everything else, the fix is in and no matter how hard CNN whores, they can NEVER shake Faux loose from their masters.

They shouldn't even try, IMHO, because there is now money to be made with Honest Journalism, considering it's in such short supply.

3. Oh, I remember...
In fact I was in Canada on vacation at the time, and I was switching back and forth between CNN and Canadian news...really bizarre.

They were all blowing Arnold live, 24/7.

I dont watch cable news.

6. Right, can I have some of what you're smoking?
It's been decades since I was as far out of touch with reality as you are. And Fox is fair right?

Hope you enjoy your brief stay here in DU.

7. Cool! I pissed off an idiot freeper!!!

Hey freeper...lick my balls you fascist scum.

Bush is a traitor and Kerry is a war hero.

CNN is a right wing mouthpiece for the government.

Please explain why your party is whining even when they control all three branches of government?

Pussy.

Cram it, igraph. If you really feel that way then you're just another freeper lurker hoping to feel justified because he confronted the mean old liberals at DU. Enjoy it while you can before you get your ass kicked out the door.

5. What the hell is going on at CNN?
Did they get a memo from Rove? I thought they were doing better for a while and I even sent a nice letter to Aaron Brown now they are bottom feeding again. Who is worse Judy or Candy? Devils choice.

8. Does anybody think that CNN takes turns on their favorable..
coverage of the candidates? Last week Bush had a bad week and the week before it was Kerry who had the bad week. Unfortunately, this week it's Kerry's turn again. Is it possible?.

22. They're choreographing it to pique peoples' interest
Fox and NBC I believe are partisan on behalf of the Republicans, but I think that the rest of TV news media is just in it to get the biggest ratings possible. They're going to try to keep the race as close as possible- they make the most money when people don't know who's going to win.

See my thread on the news media being like the WWF.

10. Yet another example RIGHT NOW!
The poll question: "Do you agree with the White House's decision to allow Condoleezza Rice to testify in public and under oath before the 9/11 commission?"

The clear implication: "Do you agree with Honest George's manly decision to permit the ever-honest Rice to give complete information?"

19. this would be a better question for CNN to ask
"is the White House trying to hide something by finally agreeing to let C Rice testify in public under oath before the 9/11 commission?"

12. You think they would at least try to make an effort.
At the end of the day count the suck-up stories for Chimp and do maybe a third as many favorable to Kerry. They don't even pretend to be unbiased, they could merge with Faux and save some money.

16. I don't think they should be intentionally FAVORABLE
to ANYBODY! Just do their damn job, and critically report the news. A little bit of journalistic skepticism would be in order.

But that, of course, is too much to ask.

But other journalists apparently remain ready to be used. On CNN, Wolf Blitzer told his viewers that unnamed officials were saying that Mr. Clarke "wants to make a few bucks, and that his own personal life, they're also suggesting that there are some weird aspects in his life as well."
