disruptor or not. Consider the following quote from a James Pinkerton article in today's Newsday:

"...Clarke's reputation has been blemished. A new poll from Newsweek finds that just 25 percent of Americans regard Clarke as a "selfless public servant," while 50 percent suspect that he is motivated by a "personal or political agenda."

This seems like something we need to pay more attention to, especially since we are all so solidly in the 25%.

Motivations are not relevant to the truth.

I think to most people, somebody's motivations and the likelihood that they are telling the truth are closely intertwined. I couldn't agree more with what you are saying. Let's just have our eyes wide open as to what we are up against.
