Operation Desert Badger
Just finished watching on CNN Live Today a story that collaborates my suspicions about how the Bush Administration may well have been obsessed with attacking Iraq instead of focusing on al-Qaeda.

This story is developing and may cause more consternation for Bush in the coming days.

It seems that the Bush administration, within its first weeks, had a Iraq attack plan in effect that would go well beyond anything Clinton had staged before in attacking Iraq. That plan would be triggered by Iraq's shooting down an American Fighter.

Well, well!

1. was that a secret plan?
I remember he made a passing reference to "Desert Badger" and no one knew what he was talking about.

2. Surprise?!
The Bush admin had little use or respect for anything coming from the Clinton people. So when told about the threat of al-Queda, the Bushies filed it with everything else Clinton, in the virtual trash.

The Bush gang had their marching orders and these certainly didn't include following up on any Clinton advice.

It would be a pleasure to see the Bush admin trashed on their failure to listen to and follow-up on the al-Queda warnings.

3. LMAO! That's what the fool blurted out in that press conference.
"And in the initial stages of the administration, as you might remember, we were dealing with Desert Badger, or fly-overs and fly-betweens and looks, and so we were fashioning policy along those lines.
