3. I joined to get the GI bill and get a degree

Which I did. She isn't going to do it but someone needs to point out that that is why many people join the military.

2. on the one hand her bravery and determination is inspiring

On the other hand there are thousands more servicemen and women with injuries as bad or worse than hers. I'd like to hear more about them, all of them, in the press, lest the public get the impression that Ms. Lynch is a special case.
