11. He just went over what happened between CNN and the White House
and the cover up that's going on....do you know the story about the kid behind Bush yawning and stuff?

Anyway, Letterman says he has it from a good source that the White House really DID call CNN and tell them that Letterman edited it in.

12. It proves several things - 1.) Bush and CNN are liars.
2.) We no longer live in the America we were promised growing up.

3.) The Bush White house is a crime family that lies, distorts, extorts, coerces, and covers up.

4.) CNN is a willing accomplice in lying to the American People and acts as a 24/7 commercial-outlet for the Bush Re-election campaign.

5.) Democracy in America is at a serious lull. It is truly in Jeopardy.

This is all beyond belief that both the White House and CNN would have the audacity to try to lie like this - Dave Letterman is very high profile - have they become so emboldened as to outright lie to all of our faces knowing that we know they lie?

It's a kid at a political rally that's bored. It's funny, in an innocent ribbing sort of way. It's just kids being kids. Many just won't be that thrilled about a political rally.

Nobody is gong to make an assumption about any adult because of a kids response. It's just a "kids do the darndest things" funny moment.

The idea that the White House would over-react so ridiculously to such an innocent comedy bit shows the White House has become so intolerant of criticism that it's literally a symptom of mental illness of some form afoot.

Letterman played a clip of kid at a Bush speech who was bored.

CNN then played the clip from Letterman's show.

CNN announced that the White House says Letterman had edited the bored kid into the footage.

Letterman insists that the video isn't edited.

35. Right, but in between there, after the third thing
CNN calls the Letterman show and says that the White House DIDN'T call them to say that the video was edited (because the White House totally overreacted, and was lying, and they know it). Then Letterman comes back and says that he has it from a good source that the White House really DID call CNN and say that it was edited...

So, really, this is now centering around whether or not the White House called CNN and, thus, overreacted to this kid yawning behind Bush, and THEN tried to cover up the call.

The White House DID CALL CNN and tell them the clip was a FAKE!

Seriously, I'm going to look up the email address to the Late Show and request they find that kid and put him on the show. When I find the email address, I'll post it so everyone here can do the same.

Letterman loves to have these kind of guests on, esp. kids.

I'd love to see Dave razz the kid about falling asleep, and ask the kid if he was really standing there.

I doubt the kid's freeper father would allow it though.

....he was BORED. He rolled his eyes, yawned, scratched, hung his head, yawned again, and then looked to me as if he really needed to head to the mens room. All the while, just feet away, George is yakking away. It's just a classic. Fabulous.

50. The WH called Wolfie a while back and he INTERRUPTED
his guest while he was still talking.. Wolfie said something like.. "The white house spokesman JUST called and said...blahblahblah"..What do you say about THAT"??
The guest was a bit flummoxed, but continued.. This was in the MIDDLE of an interview..

They HAVE to have a direct-open line into Wolfie's ear in order to get to him in the middle of a 5 minute interview..

They have their basement trolls watching everything..and always at the ready to "counter" anything that is remotely "against" the chimp..

They play hardball...all the time..
