Good poll news: Kerry leads Bush by 3 in L.A. Times survey
http://www.pollingreport.com/wh04gen.htm

And his lead is still 3 when Nader is included. So Kerry ended March is very good shape when you consider he was outspent on ads by 10-to-1 (or more) and was on the defensive much of the month. BTW, I think this poll shows the effect the Clarke allegations have had on Bush. They've also had the silver lining of halting Bush's campaign momentum. If Kerry can get through the next couple of months, when Bush is using his war chest to beat the hell out of him, and stay close to him in the polls, he'll be fine.

1. We better call Scarborough Country.
Last night he had a segment on Kerry being in a freefall in the polls. I bet he'll correct this on tonight's show.

BTW, I believe this is the first poll in awhile that shows Kerry ahead when Nader is added.

3. I watched that idiot yesterday.........
"Kerry free-falling", and "plummeting" in the polls. The polls he was citing showed Kerry and the war chimp in a tie. (within a couple percentage points).

Some freefall! What a moran!

4. I found those other polls listed quite informative too
Bush definitely has a problem. It's going to be interesting to see what happens when we can finally (and it'll probably be coming out of convention)swarm the airwaves with Kerry ads. And what happens after the Dem convention.

7. More poll details...
Kerry wins 43% to 33% vs. Bush on the question "He cares about people like me", but Bush still leads on leadership questions. However, while Bush leads 41% to 36% on the "Has honesty and integrity to be President" question, I think 41% is pretty low for a President. Kerry's numbers are sure to improve as he moves back into the spotlight, but I cannot imagine Shrub bouncing back. On the flip-flop question, they are neck and neck with 38% thinking Kerry does, and 35% thinking Bush does.
