"colored girls" and making fun of the Amish et. al. Besides, making fun of the dead is always in bad taste unless it's someone like Hitler or Pol Pot. I was kind of uncomfortable with that.

What I'll have to get used to is the mellow tone of the interviews with liberals. I'm so used to the argumentative discusssions on right wing radio and tv. Now, the interviews are more in depth discussions with the left point of view being explored.

I'd like more time with each guest like they did with Kerrey, yesterday. But that will come in time. I'm loving this and will just learn to relax my shoulders. I'm still so geared up to liberal ideas being attacked. It just won't be happening on Air America and it's about damned time!

You can already hear him getting his groove and its only the second day!!

However, and I could probably get flamed for this, but I CANNOT stand his co-host. Sorry, but she has gotten under my skin more than a couple of times already.
I would enjoy the show a lot more if he had a different co-host.

I do have to say, though, I'm loving the idea of AirAmerica!!
So far, IMO, the best overall show was 'Unfiltered' this morning.

She does keep everything on track. People who call in often get a little nervous and then drag on and on and don't get to the point fast enough. After all, it's commercial radio and they do need to get the meat of the programming to keep it interesting. And Franken sure doesn't know the ropes. So even if she has gotten on my nerves, I understand her role. So I'm sort of trusting her to know what to do and how to get it done. They seem to like each other.

Last night, I heard a spark fly between Jeaneane and her co-host. He pointed out that she kept telling him he was saying "um" too much. It was during the Chapelle interview. But they were open about getting used to each other. Not very professinal, but what the heck. they can have all the time they need to get in their respective grooves! :D

on the economy, the deficit, tax cuts, Medicare. Go Hillary! This is a great platform for her and other Democratic officials.

that these are discussions that more fully explored from the liberal/left point of view. No Hannity buttig in with outrageous requests asking the liberal guest to "say something nice about the president". This is relaxing and humorous. It's such a pleasure.
