Letter from a civilian truck driver in Iraq, to Bartcop
overheard conversation of a MP in line at PX. His last detail was guarding Bremer--they mirror the civilian unit that guards Bremer.
the civilian unit earns $600/a day, while the GIs get squat. He went on to stay that they once had to wait outside a restaurant for 7 hrs. for Bremer and that he came out "wasted on alcohol". (I'm not sure how much of a letter I could post.) Also today, good articels by Conanson and Lyons.
