Support Air America Sponsors
So far I've heard Dr. Scholls and Comedy Central.

Post others here in the subject line as you hear them, and maybe send snail or email to sponsor to show support. If you have links to sponsors email, go ahead and throw them on.

1. Is Air America paying to be run?
I heard somewhere (dont know if its true) that Air America is paying those stations to carry its programs until enough advertisers are found.

If thats true, is it a violation of the compaign finance rules that say you cant pay to advertise your candidate?

I think that only applies to around election time. Im not sure.
Can anyone straighten me out on this?

Thanks.

8. Since you posted the same thing as yesterday
I'll answer with my same response as well:

Same principle as religious groups bartering time with AM stations. And believe me, there are a ton of them.

Westwood One paid a bundle to some stations to carry Bill O'Liely.

The Dem party doesn't own AA. It is privately owned. So they can do whatever they want as far as buying time on local stations.

9. Clear Channel pays stations for Rush to blab his drug-induced filth.
Are you also concerned about that little tidbit of truth? I certainly hope so.

11. I'll correct this one
It may have been true at the beginning, but Rush's affiliates actually pay him.

O'Really, on the other hand...
