I haven't heard about this yet, can anyone give me some background on this? I can't imagine them putting people in jail, for unpaid medical bills. Thank you

1. there were some posts several weeks ago about aggressive collection
tactics and threats of jail. Am anticipating debtors prisons soon in this nation. Prison labor is cheap and corporate officers don't need to know any foreign languages or hire interpretors.

9. You could start providing housing to street urchins...
I've read that they'll go out and pick pockets for you if you feed them. Personally, I fear that my retirement plan will include warming myself over a barrel of burning trash...

8. Body attachment is just
"A writ commanding the sheriff to bring before the court a person guilty of contempt of court."

from what I've read, people were arrested for failing to appear in court when sued over medical bills. Failure to Appear is a no-no in any situation.

7. who said it's small-claims court?
I know that the stories people posted here were about people who failed to appear in court. They were NOT arrested for not paying their bills. If people have other information, I'll be happy to check it out. But the stories people posted here were about failure to appear.
