Meeting About Kerry...

The Catholic Bishops are meeting to discuss what to do about Kerry and his stance on abortion and stem cell research. A few Bishops have already been denying open proponents of abortion the right to take communion. I want to know why they have not taken a similar stand on politicians that support capital punishment. The Church is vehemently opposed to the death penalty and these same Bishops are awfully quiet on that issue.
And in conclusion...I have a problem with a group of Bishops who are so vocal on abortion, but did so much to hide the sexual abuse committed by their own members.
I think they need to start heeding the words of Jesus Christ, "Take the log out of your own eye..."
