3. Big difference: Mr. Potter offered George Bailey a chance to come on
board with his organization. Cheney would have done nothing less than destroyed George with smear campaigns against his reputation in the community, ruined the Building & Loan, and driven him to suicide (at least it would LOOK like a suicide).

Potter and Cheney are both low class weasels.
