What topics do you cover and who do you interview??

1. I'd probably lead in with how screwy our election system is
and talk up election reform, calling in folks to speak on that. Aa far as I am concerned, a better election system means we elect better officials, and better officials mean better policies. (Very glad to have heard BBV Bev tonight.)

...at that point, I start reading DU postings, and throw them at Skinner...the thing is, that only I get to see the computer screen...

8. Outsourcing.
First, I'd play some clips of Mankiw and Snow saying jobs are a commodity and offshoring makes us all richer.

Then I'd interview some people who have accepted part time jobs, been substantially downgraded in their jobs, or who haven't found a job in more than a year.

Next, I'd read a clip or two from the press where Powell or * promises to protect jobs in India.

Then I'd interview a few people who had lost their houses after being offshored.

Something like that...

Some of you think Randi Rhodes is obnoxious and "abrasive"....

for starters, I'd have a standing offer for Karl Rove to meet me, mano-a-mano, no holds barred, Texas Cage Match-style.

I'd have a bottle of pills in the studio, which I would shake once-a-while, saying "How 'bout it, Rush? Got that Pavlovian thing going? You salivatin', Oxy-Boy?"

Yeah, I'd last about an hour...

...what was that look on his face in the kid's classroom on 9/11 when he was told about the planes flying into buildings?

OH - and ask him why the air force didn't down the plane before it hit the Pentagon?

This seems like a very reasonable show to me.
