I think she seriously thinks Bush is a good man, and that automatically translates into being a good president. If that's so, then why all the word games she plays? Compassionate Conservatism anyone?

She wasn't so convincing this time, even she seemed 'off her toes' defending what is so clearly indefensible. Her rebuttal of the white house stonewalling the commission was laughable and weak.

No halfways rational person lies without "good reason." Thus, the line between Worshippers and Liars is vague indeed. I would, however, place Noonan and Crowley in the "gushy worshipper" category -- weak-kneed fans of some imaginary ideation.
