Passion of the "Chreeest"
Randi getting going on Mel Gibson.

I'm still loving her, but I'm a newbie.

She called the "two hour film of a man getting beaten, homo-erotic."

Woah!! :wow:

7. Haven't seen it
so I'll reserve comment.

I would like to know where she got her poll numbers that said 7% more people believed that the Jews were responsible for Jesus' death after the release of the film.

8. I saw a poll like that...
Edited on Mon Apr-05-04 02:35 PM by stopthegop
it was like:
more positive view of Jews = 82%
less positive viee of Jews = 7%
no change = 11%

if she mentioned on the 7%...less than totally honest..if it's the same poll

3. I've heard the homoerotic claims from other reviewers as well
Particularly in the gay press. Haven't seen the movie myself, though. I've been boycotting Gibson and Willis for years.

9. Mel's a strange cat...
...as evidenced by the prolonged torture scene he directed in "braveheart" as well. Personally I have no desire to see a film about torture, self-denial, masochism, anti-Semitism, anti-homosexuality, self righteousness, or Mel Gibson's religious agenda.

4. i called in ask her to clarify

"homoerotic"

said, surely she meant "sado-masochistic"

I THOUGHT I was being put into the call lineup, but the guy said: "I'll pass it along" and HUNG UP...

nuts! after 15 busy signals and 25 rings....
