The wit and wisdom Bill O'Really

What radio sounds like now (with only slight exaggeration)

We are living in desperate times, and the radio industry in America proves it.
Now we have an all-liberal network. Just what we need. It isn't enough that conservative bloviators sling radio propaganda all day long. It's apparently imperative that we have constant left-wing bleating as well, even though National Public Radio is heard on more than 700 stations. Here's what we can expect on the left side of the dial.

"Lou in Seattle, you're on the air."

"Bush is a liar."

"Good call, Lou."

"Halliburton owns Cheney, and Laura Bush has hair extensions."

"What about Rumsfeld?"

"He has hair extensions, too, and lies about them."

Can't get enough of that, can you? Let's turn the dial to the right.

"Lorraine in Orlando, what's on your mind?"

"Ditto."

"Ditto what, Lorraine?"

"Kerry is a Communist. He has Botox."

"And the government probably paid for it, right, Lorraine?"

"No doubt. And Hillary dated Osama Bin Laden at Yale."

Bill, please. Spare us. Stick with television.

1. It annoys him so much...
Edited on Tue Apr-06-04 01:23 AM by KissMyAsscroft
that he decided to start a new niche...its called "Tabloid Hack Journalism"...

It's great, devoid of any content other than him selling his own merchandise. It's also full of whining pissy rants about how everyone picks on him.

See, that makes him independant...:eyes:

Al Franken's plan to bait and irritate O'Lielly has clearly had an impact. I bet Al is pleased.

7. yes
from http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A62722-2000Dec12?language=printer

In fact, O'Reilly was a registered Republican – until last week. O'Reilly acknowledges that since 1994 he was listed on the Republican voting rolls in Nassau County, where he lives. But he says it was the result of a clerical mistake, which he's rectified. "I've always been an independent," he says. "I always split my ticket. I vote for the person I think is best."

he was a registered republican for six years until he got wind that the washington post was going to bring it up in this article, then he went and changed to independent.

8. This is O'Riely's attempt at being an "independant"
I don't have a radio transcript in front of me, but I listened in once through my local broadcaster of radio fascism (WSKY-FM) and here we have O'Really making a typical rant on how liberal the late-night talk show hosts are. Grilling David Letterman for a minute, he drifts off on the news networks, calling NPR "Way left" CNN center left, etc.

Now himself? "Traditionalist."

He defines "traditionalist" as wanting "America to win."

He then groups in Fox News as a "Traditionalist" network.

In a sense, I'm glad Bill O'Really said it like that: even he's admitting that Fox is not a good source of unbiased news.
