2. Bush Sr ready to sacrifice Cheney and Rumsfeld to save son
Interesting quote there about Bush Sr. thinking Cheney and Rumsfelf pushed GW too hard.

This confirms GW is in big trouble.

6. it's pretty obvious now
GW: "Hey! what's this hand doing up my ass?"
Chaney: "Don't pay attention to it."

Seriously, in a way I kinda pity HW. I can't imagine what it's like to watch his son be twisted around like a bit of string. But then... wimpy wasn't ever big on backbone either, however, I don't recall any stories about HW being manipulated by puppeteers. At least no stories that weren't tied to some crazy conspiracy. Nobody ever accused HW of being dumb. A wimp -- yes; misguided -- certainly, but not stupid and easy to manipulate.

8. well, just look at *
he doesn't have staff -- he has HANDLERS.

Karen Hughes, Condi Rice, Andy Card, Dick Cheney -- all of his staff take care of him like I've never seen a grown man taken care of before.

I'll bet one of them even shakes Lil' Georgie after he takes a piss.

Pathetic.

3. I suspected as much
when the surrogates began coming out – Scowcraft et al. I think * has issues with the old man, who probably told him he'd never amount to anything. Jeb was their boy. I doubt he listens to anything Poppy tells him.

One well-placed Bush colleague said the older Bush recently acknowledged, "I'm having trouble with my boy," referring to Iraq.

4. where would this mindless fuck be without his dad
Edited on Tue Apr-06-04 09:20 AM by CatWoman
he even thought that he could also inherit his dad's coalition, like he inherited everything else.

These sources told The News that aside from his "exit-strategy" fears of a prolonged, bloody conflict, the ex-President is troubled that the war fractured the international coalition he painstakingly assembled to expel deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein from Kuwait in 1991.

* has never worked for anything in his life. Everything has been given to him.

Building goodwill and support requires a lot of work. I'll bet * thought these countries would automatically support him because they supported his dad.

7. i think this is a case of...
Daddy helping to get his son in a good position and letting him fly on his own. Only to see the son plummet to the ground.

Its clear, that shrub can't support himself, and he can't lead. * is a follower, not a leader. I suspect that when this is all over, he'll have to move back into his parent's house and live on the couch.

5. Odd article
yes, he did.
no, he didn't.

Did enjoy the last line of the article, though:

One well-placed Bush colleague said the older Bush recently acknowledged, "I'm having trouble with my boy," referring to Iraq.

*sigh* Aren't we all?

10. That line speaks volumes
Bush Sr still trying to control, still the patriarch, the son, still rebelling. We're fucked because of one of the oldest story of time - a father/son power struggle. And this one is classic textbook - father knew better, son is an idiot. (ok, just skip that dad was not an idiot but evil in his own right).

13. This is Exactly the root of the problem....
Mama Baba domineering. Poopy bush wimpy. First son hates both parents. Little bush has always been a thorn at his parent's ass. He always went his way and got in trouble all the time. To cover up the bush dynasty ambarassment, mama baba always lied and cheated for her eldest son.

This sounds like my sister-in-law's life-story, and my neighbors, and all families engaged in the power outside of their family, instead of focusing on their immediate family. Envy kills. The bushi's envy has always been toward the Kennedys.

11. Sounds Like an "authorized" Tome
The author was on GMA and he and Charlie GIBSON just drooled over the B.F.E.E. cliches - how the family was all betting on Jeb Crow Shrub as the guardian of the family jewels, that when Jeb lost for gov and Shrub won the family's anguish over Jeb was greater than joy over Shrub's winning. But most of all, that Shrub is the fulfillment of the Prodigal Son.

It sounds like this book, despite referring to "dynasty" is continuing the media's error as pointed out by PHILLIPS in his true dynasty book, where they focus on the immediate players while ignoring the far reaching crimes of the B.F.E.E. covering a hundred years.

Waiting for Kitty KELLEY's book, hoping for the true dirt.
