I don't think it was that bad of a plan in principle:

1. Invade Iraq.
2. Get greetted by now happy free child-like Iraqis.
3. Pass out choclate and nylons.
4. Put damper on ethnic religious stuff, dead-enders etc.
5. Get Saddam.
6. Install Dr. Chalabi as King.
7. Band-aids, Times Square parade, etc.
8. Oil, bases, etc.

By now there is a little bit of blood under the bridge
but I think it bears asking to say if we left anything
on the list out. If somebody forgot to pass out choclate,
nylons, Gameboys, bubble gum cigars, etc., to the basicly
child-like Iraqis, I think somebody better get passing.

2. I believe Dr. Chalabi is a Doctor of Philosophy and Jurisprudence.
He also holds some honorary titles from Syria I believe.
He attended Harvard I believe and is also an intelligence
expert.

4. If you can't respect the man at least respect the position.
Dr Chalabi is an internationally known businessman,
diplomat and I believe bon vivant racoteur. I think
you'd agree that he is the first Iraqi that most
people think of if they had to think of somebody
that they knew that they could pronounce their name
on the Iraqi Commission of Ruling Leaders Committee.
