US Trained Iraqi Police Turn Against the Coalition Forces! Yikes...
Edited on Tue Apr-06-04 06:10 PM by leftchick

A police officer joins supporters of Iraqi Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr celebrating on the roof while occupying the governor's residence in the southern city of Basra April 5, 2004. The costs of the war in Iraq (news - web sites), which contributed to a destabilization of the Middle East, have outweighed the benefits of removing Saddam Hussein (news - web sites), former U.N. weapons inspector Hans Blix told a Danish newspaper on April 6. ...Credit for spotting this vital piece of the Iraq picture goes to saigon68, who posted it in a thread in LBN. This deserves serious media attention. I won't hold my breath.

I find a lot of news embedded in the photo links that the regular media ignores.

7. A chill went down my spine...
...when I read that. That's devastating news. The pre-NRA, just-walked-with-Bobby Kennedy, Chuck Heston quote has never been more apt...

"It's a madhouse....a madhouse!"

And apparently our beloved president is the asylum's Nurse Ratched.

God help us and our troops.

9. Follow the money (spent)
We pay our coalition partners for their soldiers.
We paid contractors a small fortune to train Iraqi police (we can be certain about a small fortune if the contracts went through 'Helliburton or Bechtale').
We paid weapons suppliers a small fortune to arm Iraqi police with uniforms, guns, and high-tech stuff (again we know its a small fortune if it went through 'Helliburton or Bechtale'.
We paid language people a small fortune to translate and teach E-A and A-E.
We have helicopters flying into each other and being shot down and equipment being blown up.

Excluding lives, limbs, minds, immune systems, future baby problems.

We don't even know if this qualifies as an official war and whether the Geneva Convention rules apply. And we have our leaders ignoring the rules in some instances.

Well, here's my take...THIS IS A PNAC WAR AND THEY AND HALLIBURTON< KELLOGG BROWN & ROOT AND BECHTEL AND OTHER BENEFACTORS SHOULD PAY FOR "A L L" OF IT.
