Who pisses you off more, Bush and his blatant lies, or the stupid assholes
Edited on Tue Apr-06-04 07:34 PM by Zinfandel
who believe him?

I'm sure you despised the Reagan administration and it's beginning of American fascism as much as I did. At least when they were going to fuck you over, they would make excuses why it was best for you and me, about what they decided to do, even though it's what they planned on doing all along.

But these fucking fascist in the White House now, just go up to the camera, lie like a motherfucker and tell everyone exactly what the American people want to hear. And then off camera, keeping incognito and with as minimal amount of media coverage as possible... Go and do the exact opposite of what they just said on camera.

Just blatant fucking liars and sick assholes, because they love being vindictive, they enjoy killing. and 48% of the people believe BushCo is doing a good job???? I want to smash a baseball bat upside their heads and then to their fucking television sets...I can't stress this too enthusiastically...BushCo ideology is...If it helps the corporations, fuck the environment, fuck the people, fuck the country...I've never known such filthy shameless greed.

I really don't know who upsets me more; Bush and his cohorts or the stupid assholes who believe every lie uttered by this administration. It's shocking to know that soooo many Americans are that dumb. Actually deplore them more than the wealthy people who are, at least, getting something in return for their support. The poor and middle class don't even have a clue that Bush holds them in contempt because they don't have enough money. They actually believe he cares about them and will make their lives better!!!!!!!

And the media has done a yeoman's job in shoveling on the, ahem, "fair and balanced" reporting.

Repeat a lie five times and it becomes the truth, etc.

edit: typos

7. I agree
Politicians are going to lie, and misinformed voters are going to believe what THEY HEAR ON THE NEWS. It is the media that has enabled these thugs to get as far as the have. I would personally like to see them held accountable when we restore our republic.

8. You just beat me to that
the worst offenders are those in the media that if not actively promoting the agenda of the neo-cons are seemingly afraid to ask any tough questions or do any investigation. The history books, if unbiased, won't have much good to say of them.

12. Yes, the media are most responsible for this
They have no credibility and have enabled this entire junta. I hope Kerry punishes the enablers when he takes office.

14. I hope that the Kerry administration reviews
journalists performance over the last several years and in a fair way assign their positions according to their fairness and lack of bias or slant. If that means Faux is in the fucking parking lot, so be it.

6. Amen
Where I work people just fall in line with the whole Saddam thing. Saying we needed to go over there and stop him from helping the terrorist. Just blind sheep crossing the highway. I just try to be a driver and mow down their stupid ideas with ideas that they can't comprehend. Like Saddam and Terrorist; no connection. Then I bring up the whole enron-taliban connection, then their faces go blank and they forget where they are.

because nothing pisses me off more than blatant stupidity matched with laziness and they have to be both ,stupid to believe this Junta and lazy not to due any due diligence to check out their lies!

11. Exactly! Saracat
They just believe what some radiohead tells them to believe. Again, I totally think they like Bush because they identify with his stupidity, he's an under-achiever, HOmer like mentality. Don't get me wrong, I love to laugh at Homer, but I don't want him in charge of lighting the pilot on a gas grill.

to what people want to see. Believe me if they didn't want it , it would be gone.If no one watched Fox, they would be off the air. Never underestimate the stupidity of the American public. And that truth is now self evident!

19. not necessarily!
the fox off the air bit. i daydream of the day such 'secret' operations such as the 'plunge protection team' are exposed.....using trillions in tax money to keep stock market up until bush gets reelected....or the 'secret' meeting held by major news media officials to discuss 911 coverage months prior to 911. or the vast sums of tax money used to make 'passion of christ' a big hit, or funding of oprah winfrey (safe black woman) mike jackson (goof), or bulk buying 'puke books by coulter and other pig promoters; the pushing of pro sports, the doctoring of poll results, election results, neilson rating, ad council activity etc etc.
iow corruption has penetrated our society to the local level, and the 'players' know the law never coming back unless it's a tool of more cohersion.
rush fox, bush never held accountable.
like mike moore pointed out once, if 'profit' was the main thing, then gm sell crack cocaine: they don't cuz illegal drugs are very profitable biz (gm execs get shot for selling dope w/out approval, just like thug kid down in the ghetto)
thanks for listening ;-)

24. People are manipulated to "want it."
Brainwashing America
by Dr. Norman Livergood

The puppet Bush regime is using new, aggressive forms of brainwashing to change the very way Americans think and feel. This is the psychological dimension of the "High Cabal's" general onslaught against American workers, just as the "war on terrorism" is the military dimension and corporate crime and tax cuts for the rich comprise the economic dimension.

We are living under the beginning stages of a military dictatorship in precisely the same way that 1930s Germans suffered under the Nazi regime. As in the case of Nazi Germany, state-sponsored propaganda (brainwashing) is a vital part of the Bush regime's strategy.

<snip>

In an earlier article, I reviewed the varied aspects of personality profiling and simulation. While serving as Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department at the U.S. Army War College, 1993-1995, I conducted studies on profiling, psychological programming, and brainwashing. I explored and developed personality simulation systems, an advanced technology used in military war games, FBI profiling, political campaigning, and advertising. Part of my discovery was that:

unenlightened human minds are combinations of infantile beliefs and emotional patterns

these patterns can be simulated in profiling systems

these profiling systems can be used to program and control people

Personality simulation systems are being used to create political campaigns that apply voter profiles to control their voting behavior. TV commercials and programs use personality simulation to profile viewers to control their purchasing and viewing behaviors. And sophisticated propaganda and brainwashing techniques are being used by the Bush junta to keep American citizens under control.

it is the stupid assholes who believe him that really piss me off. God, these assholes just infuriate me!!! :grr: :nuke:

15. the stupid assholes piss me off more
because it scares the hell out of me how ignorant and easily manipulated they are. Over a year ago, when I was in the 0.1% (at least it felt like it) who completely opposed this war I felt like I was in bizarro land. I didn't like being so ashamed to be an American. My sons would say "well, the majority support it" and I would tell them that the majority of Germans supported the Nazis in 1942, does that mean they were right?

Edited on Tue Apr-06-04 07:41 PM by Zinfandel
written or documented proof? Man, It must be frustrating...why do they hate Clinton so much I'm curious...ask them politically aside from his personal life...exactly what policies didn't they like...his clean air & water legislation, taxing the wealthy, deficit reduction, his programs for child nutrition, his fairness to women, gay people and minorities??? I'd really like to know.

Under Clinton there was Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and Federal Marriage Act, so no, I wouldn't say he was gay friendly.

Sure the media spins the crap out of everything, but just turn the damn TV off and think for yourself!!!

Why, if many people know that the media spouts a bunch of lies, do they continue to watch TV?

Mind-numbing waste of time.
