3. If you could somehow calculate the amount of misery Bush caused....
I would think that it would have to be up there with some of the most awful people who have ever walked the earth.
That's bad enough -- but the fact that he's been able to somewhat successfully convince wingnuts that he's a man of God, and that he's brought "integrity back to the Oval Office," makes it all the more amazing - and infuriating.

8. sorry....better said: "in transit to transfer-tube"....it's like Vietnam
Edited on Tue Apr-06-04 08:41 PM by amen1234
my cousin Charlie was killed in Vietnam....HM3 Navy medic, 19 years old, silver star, purple heart DEAD....couldn't even vote, but loved his country....Charlie was my friend, we grew up together....closed casket...they didn't have those extra-thick Hefty bags for Vietnam....

once in a while, I talk to Charlie when I go down to the Vietnam Wall, near where I live now in DC.....but it still hurts so much, that I don't go to the WALL very often...such a waste....Charlie's Dad died of grief just a few years later....never got over the loss of his only son....

11. RIP -Charlie
Every year in Green Bay we have a Christmas party for the parents of soldiers killed in Viet-Nam.. to thank them for the deeds of their children, but more importantly to tell them that no matter how shitty the war was, that veterans left, still remember their children, and their sacrifice of their own children as Parents, we have become their children.

Of what you feel, I know

God Bless You!!! keep his memory alive.

10. Guys - BATTLE STATIONS! If THIS isn't enough to motivate you to
contact your media, I don't know what does... THEY WON'T BE RESPONSIVE IF THEY DON'T KNOW YOU ARE THERE EXPECTING THEM TO BE. IF THEY THINK WE DON'T CARE, THEY WON'T, EITHER. COUNT ON IT.
