lots of irakis killed, people crying, house destroyed, people discussing about unifying, bureing their dead, also it seems that troops encircling fellujah had to back off

Italians troops already retreated and British are negotiating with the insurgents

an old man was saying that they have become the west bank of Us

One more thing some shia insurgents made a declaration to journalists that they are considering building a unified army

1. The tide has turned and there's no going back....

Iraq is lost. We're killing women and children and shutting down newspapers that "cause trouble". So much for a free Iraq.

Over the coming weeks and months we'll see the wheels come off completely. They didn't trust us before this began heating up last week. What makes BushCo. think killing women and children will pacify them?

Any idiot could have seen this coming.

Seriously... this sounds really bad over there. I guess it's really time to bring out the tanks and aircraft.

Of course, the Germans found there that razing the city and killing the inhabitants had a wonderful effect of making the locals love them. That's how they went on and won World War II.

Not really. We haven't shot every man over 16, gassed the children and sent the women to death camps before blowing every building to nothingness. I'm kinda surprised the Germans didn't sow salt into the fields.

Anyway, it doesn't need to be a 100% parallel to be a similar atrocity. One thing we have seen with the Poison Dwarf Junta is that it simply cannot tolerate either dissent or disagreement and certainly not active opposition. Like all bullies, the Junta is a collective coward and they will increase the military action until either the Iraqis cave in, or they are destroyed.

And Arab tribal cultures do not give in.

I say again, Lidice, here we come.
